Rakul herself said this through social media. She said that someone created a WhatsApp account in her name.

She also shared the screenshot. ‘It has come to my attention that someone has created a fake WhatsApp account in my name. They are trying to cheat many people by sending messages from that account. It’s not my account. Rakul Preet Singh requested that everyone recognize this and if you receive a message from that number, block it. Her post is going viral in no time.
