In this, the food consumed by the audience, maintenance and other service charges are Rs.1,545 going to the multiplex, Rs.372 (net) to the producer, Rs.182 (GST) as government tax and Rs.78 as convenience fee to BookMy Show, he said. No one cares if a producer spends hard money for a film, gives remunerations to everyone and bears losses. If there is a profit, the producer will get only 17.08 percent and 3.61 percent will go to Book My Show. He said that it is not correct to say that the producers are not getting any profit from it.
