The talk of party circles is that there are more such problems in Patan Cheru, Serilingampally, Khairatabad, Station Ghanpur, Chevella, Bansuwada, Gadwala, Jagityala, Bhadrachalam and Rajendranagar constituencies. If Patan Cheru Constituency is taken… Kata Srinivas Goud contested on behalf of Congress from here in the last assembly elections and lost. After that, Gudem Mahipal Reddy, who won on behalf of his own BRS, donned the Congress scarf. As a result, the constituency Congress has split into two factions. Part of Patan Cheru Constituency is under GHMC. Also… five municipalities and more than hundred councilors are also under this segment. But…. The cadre does not understand who the leader is. It is not known who will get the B-forms in the municipal elections tomorrow. Meanwhile, former minister Jeevan Reddy is firing on sitting MLA Sanjay Kumar in Jagityala constituency. Whenever the occasion arises, this senior leader makes harsh remarks as a target of the MLA. The situation is the same in Bhadrachalam. It is Podem’s argument that the MLA is giving priority to his faction and the old BRS cadre without knowing it in the constituency. And in Bansuwada politics is going on like Pocharam vs Enugu Ravinder Reddy. Along with Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, his son Bhaskar Reddy is opposed by Enugu Ravinder Reddy. In Gadwal constituency, sitting MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy is opposed by Sarita Tirupatiah, who contested on behalf of Congress and lost. In Chevella there is politics like Bheem Bharat who contested from Kalyadayaya vs. Congress. Kadiam Srihari and Indira are fighting for dominance in station Ghanpur. The leaders who lost in ten constituencies say that priority should be given to the cadre who ran with them in the upcoming municipal elections. It is the grievance of the leaders that if we carried the flags when the party was going through a tough time, then the flag went into their hands after coming to power. It seems that the leaders of the respective constituencies are getting ready to take this issue to the attention of the PCC and the leadership. Will the PCC leaders still focus on putting a full stop to the old and new panchayat which has been pending for a long time..? Or leave it to the wind..? That is a big question mark. At the time of municipal elections, the leaders are expressing the opinion that elders should take the initiative to ensure coordination between the old and new leaders in the ruling Congress party. It remains to be seen how the screening committee will handle this.
