Malayalam star hero Dulquer Salmaan’s film ‘Kotta Loka Chapter 1’ is produced under the banner of Wayfarer Films. Directed by Dominic Arun, this film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nasleen in lead roles. Starring Kalyani Priyadarshan as the super heroine Chandra, this movie opened as the first part of the ‘Kotta Loka’ cinematic universe. Being India’s first female superhero film, ‘Kotta Loka Chapter 1’ has become a super hit from the day itself.

From day 1, the rickshaw pullers started looting Rs. It created a sensation by crossing the gross collections mark of 300 crores. Loka Chapter 1 became the new Malayalam industry hit movie beyond Mohanlal starrer Empuraan which got all time highest grosser in Malayalam with these collections. Loka is running superbly with decent collections till now. The world that created such a sensation is now coming to OTT streaming. The movie rights were bought by the popular OTT platform Hot Star for a huge price. In this context, Hot Star has brought this blockbuster movie to streaming from October 31. Hot Star is streaming in all Pan India languages besides Telugu. New world is getting decent collection in Malayalam till now.
