Koti Deepotsavam 2025 Day 1: The celebrations of Koti Deepotsavam 2025 which is organized every year in the month of Kartikam has begun with a grand start. The first day program was held at NTR Stadium under the auspices of NTV – Bhakti TV on Saturday evening with grandeur. The venue was resounding with the chanting of Lord Shiva by thousands of devotees.
The month of Kartik is considered the most auspicious month for Shiva worship. Lighting a lamp is considered as a sign of dispelling darkness and illuminating the Atma Jyoti. As part of the first day of Koti Deepotsovam, Deepa Yajna was held grandly. Brahmashri Dr. Bachampally Santhosh Kumar Shastri gave Pravachanamritham. After that..Sahasrakalashabhishekam and Koti Malella Archana was performed on the stage with the water of all holy rivers.
Later Kaleswaram Srimukteswara Swamy Kalyanam was a feast for the eyes. After the wedding, the first couple gave darshan to the devotees on the swan. Anugrahabhasana by Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhusekhara Bharti Mahaswamiji (Sringeri Saradapeeth) especially entertained the devotees. At the end, the first day of Koti Deepotsavam ceremony was successfully concluded with Sapta Harati and Lingodbhava. Reflecting the concept that each lamp is the soul of a devotee, this festival of crores of lights is a testament to the glory of Kartikamasa devotion.
This Koti Dipotsava program will be organized till 13th of this month with grandeur. Various programs will be organized at NTR Stadium at 5.30 pm every day. Besides.. RTC has also arranged special buses. Everyone is invited to this Koti Dipotsava program..
