Aiming to introduce Hollywood-level technology to Tollywood, ‘Cinematica Expo 2025’ kicked off in a grand manner at the hi-tech city Novotel HICC, Hyderabad. Famous cinematographer P.G. With the concept of “Hollywood to Tollywood”, Vinda has set up this platform to promote technology, creativity and innovation in the film industry. The theme of this year’s expo is “From Hollywood to Hyderabad: Building the Global Gateway of Cinema”.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu was the chief guest and inaugurated the program. Hero Teja Sajja, Cinematographer Senthil Kumar, Producer Dil Raju, Producer Council Member Damodar and others participated. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sridhar Babu expressed his happiness over this program being done in collaboration with Indiajoy. He said that Hyderabad has now become a global hub and 25 percent of the VFX produced in the country is being made here. The minister mentioned that there are 400 VFX companies and more than 200 AVGC studios in the city.
The Minister expressed hope that this platform will give great encouragement to the new technicians and creators coming to the film industry. Hero Teja Sajja said that new technologists and creators will come to the industry through this expo. He asked Hyderabad to develop in the field of cinema so that Hollywood technicians will soon see it. This expo is being held under the auspices of ‘Sinika Creators Council’ and with the support of Telangana Government. P.G. Vinda said that their aim is to place Indian cinema on the global stage.
