‘Jatadhara’ is the most awaited supernatural mythological thriller starring Nava Dalapati Sudhir Babu and Bollywood powerhouse Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. This pan-India bilingual film is directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, offering an amazing cinematic experience. Presented by Zee Studios, Prerna Arora, the film is produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Aggarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, Nikhil Nanda. Shilpa Shirodkar played a pivotal role in this film. ‘Jatadhara’ will release on November 7 in Hindi and Telugu languages. On this occasion, producer Prerna Arora shared the features of the film in a press conference.
How did Jatadhara’s film journey begin?
Although I am working in a Hindi film, Telugu cinema is a source of inspiration for me. Telugu movies are amazing.
I have worked on a song with Aishwarya Rajinikanth. It was my first experience in South. Just visited Ramoji Filmcity. Later I met Venkat Abhishek through Sudhir Babu. Then told the story of ‘Jatadhara’. I like it very much. Thus the journey of this film began.
How was it working with Sudhir Babu?
Sudhir Babu is my favorite. I watch his movies. It was a pleasure to do my first film in Telugu with him. He works very hard. Worked with a lot of passion.
How did Sonakshi Sinha react when she heard this story?
When I heard the story of this film, I decided to make it in Hindi as well. I already know Sonakshi Sinha. She is an excellent performer. Sonakshi is perfect for the character of Dhana Pisachi. A very memorable character. It will definitely give the audience a great theater experience. Sonakshi has very heavy action sequences with Sudhir Babu. All of them also entertain the audience.
Did you see a lot of good VFX work in the trailer? What about CG work?
60% of these movies have live visuals. 40 percent VFX work will be as required for the story. CG came very naturally. The audience will feel very natural.
About Shilpa Shirodkar?
I met Shilpa Shirodkar when she entered Bigg Boss. I told about this character after coming out of Bigg Boss. His performance is going to be very special in this movie.
Will there be a part 2 for Jatadhara?
Absolutely. It cannot be said that the sequel is a frequela, but there will be another movie as a continuation of this movie.
