The diversionary publicity stunt you are doing by masking the hardships and sufferings of the farmers so that they are not seen and discussed is not for you.. Farmers..<\/p>\n<p>When did you actually stand up for the farmers during these 18 months? Where did you stand? Is this a move you have chosen to attack the brains of the farmers as if they are responsible for this crisis? For your extravagance with three planes, six helicopters, foreign trips, weekend trips to Hyderabad, your lawyers who you chose to run false cases with political parties, your publicity frenzy, your yellow media and your thotti gang, all of them are burning crores of rupees, but don&#8217;t you have the heart to support the farmers?   <\/p>\n<p>It is being written in your media that we have held a teleconference with 10 thousand people as if we are uplifting the agriculture sector. But, why couldn&#8217;t they call 10 collectors with the same mouth and tell them to allocate funds and get good rates to the farmers? When the prices have fallen, why are measures not taken to support the farmers by immediately sanctioning the money to stabilize the prices and supporting the poor farmers?  <\/p>\n<p>Even now, even if the prices of grain, corn, banana, coconut, and cotton have fallen drastically, within the year you came to power, you have acted as if the prices of grain, vegetables, millets, pesal, sajjal, chili, tobacco, onion, tomato, cocoa, sugar, and mango have fallen. <\/p>\n<p>In this 18 month period, if the farmers have suffered losses due to natural calamities about 16 times, have they supported them at least once by giving input subsidy? There is no instance in which you as a Chief Minister responded and supported the farmers in any difficulty. Farmers, if we fight on their behalf, will counterattack to divert it. If they go to the farmers&#8217; meeting, they file unfair cases. <\/p>\n<p>Hasty announcements are made to support farmers. In actual practice, nothing is done, nothing happens. This is what you have done in the case of chilli, tobacco, mango and onion crops. With your wicked rule, the security, assurance and guarantees provided to the farmers during our government have been completely removed or weakened. The free crop insurance has been canceled and there is no telling what will be done to the lakhs of farmers who have suffered losses due to natural calamities including cyclones and are not covered by insurance. <\/p>\n<p>Even if they don&#8217;t have insurance, they can&#8217;t tell you when you will pay the crop loss compensation. When will the arrears of Rs.600 crore input subsidy due to the farmers be cleared? Poni also did not say when the input subsidy will be given to the farmers who suffered losses due to yesterday&#8217;s storm.  <\/p>\n<p>In the election, the farmers were shown the palm of their hand. Apart from PM Kisan, Rs 20,000 per year will be given under Annadata Sukhibhava. For these 2 years, only Rs. 10,000 was given for Rs. 40,000. RBKs, e-crop, CMAPP, off-farm crop purchase etc. are all defunct. Finally, farmers were brought to the plight of buying in blocks even for fertilisers. Farmers&#8217; children milked the brokers.
