They started envisioning me in a special role. That&#8217;s why I wasn&#8217;t cast in regular commercial films. As producers and directors started limiting me to Mahanati-type, emotional roles, I didn&#8217;t get many different stories and creative roles. After the release of Mahanati, I didn&#8217;t get any film opportunities for 6 months, you won&#8217;t believe it. No one even told me a story. I didn&#8217;t do anything wrong, so I&#8217;m disappointed.&#8221; I am positive that people are taking time to create a special role for me. I did not take a step back and got star heroine status.
