After writing the competitive exams, the bag containing the gun went missing. The lodge staff was suspended but to no avail. He informed the Vijayawada police and reached Hyderabad. Bhanu took Prakash into custody and interrogated him and said that he had been forgotten in the lodge. With this, two special teams were formed and sent to Vijayawada to look for the gun. It was revealed that Bhanu Prakash, who was heavily involved in betting and went into debt, chose illegal means to meet his financial difficulties. He damaged the credibility of the police system by using five talas of gold seized in a recovery case for his own purposes.
