Donald Trump: US President Donald Trump praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “wonderful leader”. Trump made these comments at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He expressed confidence that a strong trade agreement with India would be concluded soon. “I will make a great deal with India,” he said. He expressed optimism on bilateral trade relations. The Trump administration imposed 50 percent tariffs on India for buying Russian oil. Since then, relations between the two countries have become smoother.
