IND vs AUS: The Indian batsmen failed miserably in the second T20 between India and Australia in Melbourne. The Australian bowlers who won the toss and chose to field used that decision correctly. Batting first, Team India were bowled out for 125 runs in just 18.4 overs. The Indian top order showed faltering early in the innings. Opener Shubman Gill (5) was dismissed early. On the other hand, Abhishek Sharma was brilliant in the powerplay. He tried to sustain the team by scoring 68 runs in just 37 balls with 8 boundaries and 2 sixes. But the rest of the batters were completely disappointing.

Key batsmen like Sanju Samson (2), Suryakumar Yadav (1), Tilak Verma (0) were dismissed for low scores. Akshar Patel (7), Shivam Dubey (4) and Kuldeep Yadav (0) who came after that could not contribute much to the team. But Harshit Rana put up some fight in the lower order and scored 35 runs off 33 balls. With this, India finally collapsed at 125 runs. And it can be said that the Australian bowlers have shown a wonderful performance. Josh Hazlewood took 3 wickets for just 13 runs. Also Nathan Ellis scored 21 runs and took 2 wickets. Xavier Bartlett also picked up 2 wickets while Marcus Stoinis took one wicket. It remains to be seen how much the Indian bowlers can beat Australia.
