AP Cyber crime: Cyber crime investigation in AP has a significant dimension. An international cyber gang has been arrested by the police. It was found that this gang has links with Bangladesh and Nigeria gangs. A gang extorted 52 lakh rupees from Ramadevi, a female lawyer from Eluru, in the name of digital arrest. The victim filed a complaint with the police. The police registered a case against the incident and identified them as cyber criminals. The police conducted an investigation with three teams and arrested 11 people from UP, Delhi and Maharashtra.

However, AP Police is trying to arrest the accused who are abroad. The gang has been found to have committed cyber crimes worth over Rs 100 crore in a span of two years across the country.
