Karimnagar: In Rangapet of Manakondur mandal of Karimnagar district, theft of wood has created a stir. At Rangapet IKP center, two thieves tried to steal bags of rice in the middle of the night. The farmers were alerted while loading about 20 bags of paddy in the Tata AC vehicle. Farmers who went there immediately stopped the thieves. At that time a thief was caught and the villagers cleaned his body and handed him over to the police. Police identified the caught thief as Zaheed of Manakondur. Based on the complaint of the farmers, the police registered a case and started investigation. The search for another escaped thief has been intensified. There is a lot of anger in the village due to this incident. Farmers are expressing concern as paddy stored at IKP center is being stolen at night.
