Rashmika Mandanna – Dixit Shetty starrer “The Girl Friend” will be released on 7th of this month in Telugu and Hindi and on 14th in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. Rahul Ravindran is directing this emotional love story which is being produced by Geetha Arts and Dhiraj Mogileni Entertainment. Hero Dixit Shetty interacted with the media as part of the film’s promotions.
– This is my most special opportunity after Dussehra. Rahul Ravindran fixed me for the role of ‘Vikram’. After reading the script I realized how close the character is to me. Stories like this rarely come along.
– Vikram is a layered character. After seeing the trailer, some people think that he is a toxic boyfriend, but his emotions and conflicts in his mind are different. I got into the role easily because of Rahul’s clear vision.
– As soon as Rashmika appears on the screen, she completely transforms into the role of ‘Bhooma’. Rashmika’s performance will be the highlight of this movie. Even the star was very simple and friendly on the set.
– We have tried to show the love story realistically in this movie. The characters and scenes in this movie connect with our real life. Not only the youth but also the family audience will feel it.
– During the shooting, Allu Arvind saw the rushes and called and gave an advance to the next project. This is a big motivation for me in the early stage of my career.
– Bank of Bhagyalakshmi made in Kannada as part of the next projects is releasing in Telugu on 21st of this month. Also movies like Shabana and KJQ are in the line. I want to do different roles in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages.
– Hesham’s music is like the soul of this movie. What happens is my favorite song. I believe that this film will be the best film in my career.
