Producer Akkineni Venkat suggested the name of famous actor Mohan Babu for the role of rowdy Ganesh who works with Raghuvaran in this movie. It is reported that he thought that if the scene where the hero is given a warning is to be more powerful, it would be better if the actor is known to the public. But Verma immediately rejected Mohan Babu’s name. Varma also gave the reason for that saying, “Mohan Babu is a family man for the Telugu audience. Every dialogue he speaks has a unique style.
