Indian Army: 'Ram Prahar' made Pakistan sleepless

Indian Army: In case of any new aggression from Pakistan, the Army is ready to take tougher measures than Operation Sindhur, Western Command Commander Lt. Gen. Manoj Kumar Katiar revealed. He spoke on the last day of the “Ram Prahar” vinyasa in remote areas of Haridwar. The possibility of another provocation from Pakistan cannot be ruled out, which would necessitate the resumption of the operation, he said. He said that these maneuvers are being conducted keeping this in mind. Since crossing rivers like Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej along the border are essential in military operations against Pakistan, the army has specifically practiced crossing rivers, entering enemy territory and capturing military positions, it was revealed.

Around 15,000 troops, Jaguar fighter jets of the Air Force and Apache helicopters capable of penetrating enemy territory, were conducted by the Army’s Western Command military exercise Ram Prahar near the dense forests in the remote areas of Haridwar in Uttarakhand. Its objective is to send a strong signal that if the enemy dares, they will get a tougher response than Operation Sindhur. At the end of these military maneuvers, Lt. Gen. Manoj Kumar Katiar, head of the Western Command said, “Everybody knows that we have inflicted significant losses on the enemy in Operation Sindhur. Now if the enemy does anything wrong or dares to do anything in response, the response will be more severe. This exercise is for that response,” he disclosed. Such a massive and comprehensive military exercise was held in Haridwar for almost a month.

General Katiar noted that even if a war is fought on multiple fronts, decisive victory is determined by ground operations. Be it 1965 or 1971, Pakistan will not accept victory until the army captures its territory, he added. He made it clear that the Army is preparing for a multi-domain war, but ultimate victory will come through territorial advances.

After this exercise, the enemy cannot act unilaterally, the army said. If they dare further, the Indian Army reveals that it will take more forceful, decisive action than before. During this military exercise, the roar of tanks crossing the river was heard, the sound of cannons was heard in the plains and hills. Swadeshi Rudra and Apache helicopters roared in the sky. Also during the exercise, the soldiers were seen working in forests and mountains. Along with this, it was also seen that precise attacks were being made on enemy positions. Army personnel are capable of crossing rivers and other natural obstacles, whether the enemy hides in dense forests, river valleys, rugged mountains, desert regions or dark night valleys. The Army said the latest exercise aims to develop combat capabilities among soldiers in all types of terrain and conditions.
