Energetic star Ram Pothinei is going to entertain with the most awaited unique entertainer ‘Andhra King Taluka’. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, this film is directed by Mahesh Babu P. While Bhagyashree Borse plays the female lead, Kannada superstar Upendra plays the role of the on-screen superstar. The film’s music composed by Vivek-Merwin has already impressed everyone. The reason for casting Upendra Gari for the character of Andhra King?
I saw Rana doing an interview with Upendra. In it, Upendra said, ‘I am a real man in the film than outside.’ That word really connected with me. That’s when I thought the character Surya would be like this. We approached him for the role of Surya. Upendra Gari has hard core fans. All the stars are seen in Surya. Upendra garu is a great human being. After meeting him I got to know more about him.
What was Ram’s reaction when he told this story?
Mythri movie makers were very excited when they told this story. Ram garu has already worked with many big star directors. I am a director who has done only one film. He called and asked if he could tell the story in 20 minutes. I have already written the complete story. All night I thought about what to say to him and what not to say. I told him the story together. Heard the full story. Then I got a call from Mythri Movie Makers. He said, ‘This is the story of him doing OK in the first sitting’.
