The custodial trial of Ravi, the key accused in the I doll case, has reached the fifth day. In view of the expiry of his custody today, the cyber crime police have been interrogating Ravi for the last four days. But the authorities said that Ravi was giving inconsistent answers throughout the investigation and was trying to mislead the police. Sources in the investigation said that despite being questioned on the details of staff working in the UK and the Caribbean Islands and details of servers abroad, Ravi did not give clear answers. He tried to escape by saying that all the data was abroad and he had no one to help him. Moreover, the investigation also revealed that all the data except the movie files on the hard disks were deleted before the arrest.

The Hyderabad Cybercrime Police, who observed Ravi’s movements for about three months, identified the original track through his e-mail links. The police have already sent mails to many banks regarding the details of domains purchased in the name of ‘ER Infotech’, bank account transactions and credit-debit cards used. Based on the details received, more information is planned to be ascertained. Being a web designer, it is reported that Ravi has admitted during the investigation that he created the website himself and uploaded pirated movies. It seems that Ravi has revealed that he handled the entire affair alone as he was in the habit of watching pirated movies and that is what pushed him to this path.
