CM Chandrababu: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu held a key review meeting on Tuesday in the wake of Amaravati farmers’ agitation. Officials of CRDA, Principal Secretary of Municipal Department and Minister Dr. Narayana participated in this meeting held at the Secretariat. The CM said that the farmers who had given land for the construction of the capital had faced many hardships during the previous government. The officials were directed to take their problems as a top priority and provide an immediate solution. CM Chandrababu stated that the sacrifices made by the farmers should not go in vain. The CM directed Minister Narayana and the officials to arrange a meeting with the farmers soon to know directly the technical and administrative difficulties faced by them. Chandrababu made it clear that the construction works of Amaravati city should be accelerated and there should be no compromise on quality. He said that the government’s aim is to make Amaravati a world-class city without compromising on speed, quality and planning.
CM Chandrababu ordered to put pending issues before the cabinet.. If there are any pending issues related to the development of Amaravati, CM Chandrababu ordered that they should be brought before the cabinet immediately.. Farmers’ problems should be solved urgently.. Speed up the constructions.. Quality should not be compromised.. Officials should work in the field.. A meeting with the farmers should be held soon.
