Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition: Mahindra & Mahindra has once again grabbed the attention of the automobile industry by launching the BE 6 Formula E Edition in the Indian market. The model is distinguished as the world’s first Formula E-themed electric SUV. Keeping in view the growing interest in motorsports among the youth as well as families in India, this special edition aims to bring Formula E Championship styling to the road vehicle.
The exterior design of the BE 6 Formula E Edition has a completely motorsport look. Signature bumper, circular projector headlamps, gloss black bezels, fire storm orange highlights give this SUV a sporty look. Four exterior colors are available namely Everest White, Fire Storm Orange, Tango Red and Stealth Black. Racetrack style alloy wheels, Fire Storm Orange brake calipers, roof & boot spoilers, Formula E decals, FIA branding, 12-stripe graphics on the glass roof/bonnet highlight the model.

The Formula E theme has been continued in the interior parts as well. A premium cabin is offered with Fire Storm Orange touches. The color theme is evident in parts like dashboard, steering wheel, wireless charging area. Features like seats designed with Formula these logos, FIA branded seatbelts, special edition plaque, translucent door inserts, race car style start/stop button flap, custom startup animation make the cabin more sporty.
In terms of performance, both have a 210kW motor with a 79kWh battery pack. This SUV accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 6.7 seconds. It also has 180kW DC fast charging support, so charging from 20% to 80% takes only 20 minutes. Premium suspension features like iLink front suspension, 5-link rear setup, frequency-dependent damping further enhance the driving experience.
In terms of smart features, this edition has been launched with the latest technology. Features include dual 12.3-inch displays, Snapdragon 8155 chipset, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Harman/Kardon 16-speaker system (Dolby Atmos), built-in Alexa, OTT and social media apps, 5G support, Me4U connected suite. Safety features include 6 airbags, 360° camera, blind view monitor, all-wheel disc brakes, brake-by-wire, electronic brake booster, driver drowsiness detection, TPMS.

Mahindra is also offering special gifts for the first 999 customers. The Racer Kush Mini comes with benefits like a unique track-day experience, a collector’s box with memorabilia, and the option to choose a unique decal number between 0–99. Also, the names of these 999 customers will be displayed on the Mahindra Racing Car competing in the London E-Prix. Three customers will also be given a first-hand experience of the London E-Prix with Mahindra bearing all expenses. Coming to the price… FE2 Rs. 23.69 lakhs (ex-showroom), the FE3 with extras is priced at Rs. 24.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). Car bookings will start from January 14, 2026. Meanwhile, deliveries will be available from February 14, 2026.
