China’s activities in the Indian Ocean have surged ahead of India’s new announcement. Three Chinese surveillance and research vessels, Shi Yan-6, Shen Hai Yi Hao and Lan Hai 201, were spotted simultaneously in the Indian Ocean region. According to intelligence sources, Chinese ships are spying to closely monitor India’s war technology. After learning about China’s move, India changed the missile test schedule to refocus the Dragon ships.

Presence of Chinese spy ships
How the presence of Chinese spy ships was detected.. Chinese research ship Shi Yan-6. But Indian security agencies believe it to be a high-tech spy ship. Shi Yan-6 is in international waters south of the Andaman Islands. This forced India to postpone the missile test schedule (November 25-27) originally issued by India. The exam will now be held between December 1 and 3. At this time, it is expected that the Chinese ship will leave the area and head towards Mauritius.

It is reported that China’s presence in the Indian Ocean is increasing. At present, three Chinese ships are actively operating in the Indian Ocean at different locations. Of which 1. Shi Yan-6 surveillance ship. It can monitor Indian missile ranges. The vessel is also equipped with advanced sensors to track underwater activities.

2. Shen Hai Yi Hao : This is a Chinese deep-sea survey ship. Active around the Maldives. The vessel has deep-sea submersible technology that can penetrate up to 7,000 meters. Maps seabed, minerals, submarine cable routes. This data is very sensitive from a military point of view.

3. Lan Hai 201: Sonar surveillance vessel. It operates in the west of Lakshadweep. The vessel collects sonar data of underwater structure and movement. It has the ability to monitor submarine movements and naval activities.

However, India has issued a new notam clarifying that the missile test is not being cancelled, but merely postponed. The next examination date is scheduled for December 1 to 3. Now all eyes are on whether this missile test will escape from Chinese Shi Yan-6 spying… or India will have to adjust its testing strategy once again. Analysts point out that India-China rivalry is heating up not only on land but also in the sea.
