- Ibomma Ravi created a fake identity named Prahlad
- Huge piracy network with 20 servers, 35 domains
- Film Chamber.. Evidence on threatening emails sent to police
- Further investigation into betting apps and financial transactions
IBomma Ravi: Hyderabad cyber crime police have once again uncovered key details in the custody investigation of IBomma Ravi. The investigation revealed that Ravi had decided in advance to keep the piracy affair completely away from his true identity. For this he created a completely fake identity in the name of ‘Prahlad’ and maintained various documents, banking systems and company registrations under that name.
Police revealed that besides taking PAN card and driving license in the name of Ravi Prahlad, he opened many companies and also maintained domains and bank accounts in the same name. Investigation revealed that he had devised this complete system to ensure that piracy activities were nowhere connected to his original identity. Police confirmed that Ravi bought 20 servers and 35 domains to run the piracy network. With this, it is clear that the piracy strategy conducted by him is running on a large scale. Evidence has emerged that illegal activities such as recording, uploading and downloading of movies have been conducted through this network.
Moreover, the old threatening emails sent by Ravi are also revealing. Cybercrime officials found that the threatening email sent to the Film Chamber and the police two months ago was in Ravi’s personal email ID. This provided stronger evidence for his character. In addition, in the background of suspicions on betting apps and other financial transactions, the Cybercrime Police is expected to continue the investigation in this regard. Officials believe that there are chances of Ravi’s connection not only to piracy but also to other illegal transactions. As the custody trial of Aibomma Ravi continues, there are indications that more sensational details will come to light.
