Nalgonda Congress DCC Appointment Row: Punna Kailash vs Komatireddy Faction Intensifies

OTR: Controversy continues over the appointment of Nalgonda District Congress President. Minister Komati Reddy’s faction is strongly opposing the party leadership’s decision to appoint Punna Kailash as DCC president. The 140th foundation day celebrations of the Congress party were held in a grand manner at the Nalgonda district headquarters. It is said that there is a strategy to show strength behind the fact that the celebrations are on a scale that is not happening anywhere in the state and Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is called as the chief guest. There is an argument that Mohan Reddy’s holding a huge rally with thousands of people before the party’s foundation day meeting and holding the meeting after that is to strongly express his desire for the DCC seat. On the other hand, Punna Kailash, who secured the DCC seat on the basis of social mobilization and performance, is also acting as if it is diminishing.
