YCP changed the MLA candidates here and there during the election time. The leaders in the constituency which is not theirs are indifferent. Even though he is in charge of the name… he is silent without any charge. Is that why YCP leader Jagan is ready to be purged? Ready to make unexpected decisions? Has some leaders just started to get upset over the changes in charge?

After the elections, YCP leader Jagan, who has been fully focused on the party, has been cleaning the party to a full extent during this year and a half. Everything from the booth level to the appointments of key PAC committees is being monitored by himself. Party sources say that if the appointments of booth level committees are also completed this month, there is a possibility to focus on party membership. In the meantime, it is reported that Jagan has put full focus on the performance of the in-charges in each assembly constituency. From time to time, he is observing the performance of the in-charges and conducting reviews with the district presidents. Along with the information taken from them, he is bringing reports through special sources and cross-checking them. It is reported that internal surveys have already been completed on the performance of the in-charges of all the constituencies in the state. Jagan understood that there were large-scale complaints about the performance of the in-charges in many places. It is known that Jagan is serious about not getting along with the cadre and not caring much about the party.

Before the 2024 elections, Jagan, who went to experiments like changing the sitting MLAs in more than 80 assembly constituencies from here to there and appointing new ones, it seems that he has come to an estimate that the party had to lose heavily because of this, there was no profit. Since then some people have been retained as in-charges but have been transferred to positions where the performance is worse. The district of Samman Prakasham, however, is still troubled by the change of candidates in 11 of the 12 assembly seats. If it claims to be the strongest district at that level after Kadapa, YSP had to settle for just two seats in Prakasam. It could not win even a single seat in a strong district like Nellore, where it had a clean sweep in the past. But it is reported that some of the in-charges who changed their positions in the last elections are working in their current positions without any intention. We feel that the programs called by the party are something. They are hoping that President Jagan will give them an opportunity to work in their own constituency again.

Jagan has come to an estimate that party activities have improved in many constituencies in the state. It seems that a calculation has been made that the incharges have also been speeded up and are available to the cadre as well. In some other places, there are complaints that the performance of party in-charges has not improved.. Party programs are not being organized properly.. They say that Jagan will take big decisions very soon. It is claimed that he has full information about who’s performance in the party. Before 2019, he used to directly focus on each constituency and bring information on his own. In the same manner, even now, it is reported that he has all the data about who is available to the cadre and who is away. Taking all these into account, the talk is that those who are actively working in many places will be given in-charge positions.. Moreover, this time, the opinions of the local leaders along with the cadre will be given a lot of weight.. It is said that Jagan will decide whether to continue the in-charge or give a chance to new people, taking into account the opinions of the local leaders in each constituency.

Jagan, who claims that the honeymoon period of the alliance government in AP is over, is ready for a direct fight. On the other hand, it is expected that the party will be highlighted only if it continuously fights with the people on local issues along with the programs given by the party at the state level. At a time like this, they are thinking that only if the in-charges of the constituencies are active, the party activities will reach the people at speed. At the same time, there are local body elections in the new year. As the incharges play a vital role in the local struggle…they should be strong and lead the cadre. Political pundits believe that Jagan, who has come to an estimate that even if they deal with such a thing, it will be a big blow to the party…. will take very important decisions.
