Bandi Sanjay: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay inaugurated the state-of-the-art medical equipment purchased with CSR funds of Rs. On this occasion, he made several key comments on the strengthening of medical services in government hospitals. Bandi Sanjay said that poor people come to trust government hospitals for emergency treatment and the central government will take steps in the direction of increasing that trust. But he criticized that the state government is not able to utilize these opportunities properly.

He said that at present government hospitals do not have proper facilities or the trust of the poor is decreasing and the Center is committed to change this situation. He said that till now five crores of rupees have been provided through CSSR funds and we have been successful in bringing modern equipment in Karimnagar Parliament area. He assured that postmortem room, X-ray machine and other necessary equipment will be provided soon through MP funds. Doctors were advised not to refer poor patients to Karimnagar Government Hospital due to lack of equipment.

He said that people will have good faith in government hospitals if they work with a service attitude. Bandi Sanjay alleged that there was massive corruption in the construction of check dams in the state. He claimed that the previous BRS government took commissions from contractors and constructed check dams without planning. He said that the contractors who were in the BRS government are now continuing in the Congress government as well.

They demanded recovery of funds from the contractors if an investigation was conducted on the check dams and corruption was confirmed. Bandi Sanjay announced that proposals will soon be sent for the complete modernization of the Jammikunta railway station and funds will be allocated for the construction of a stadium at Jammikunta.
