The ODI series will begin on Sunday, November 30 in Ranchi. Captain KL Rahul spoke to the media on Saturday. Rahul made it clear that he will bat in the middle order throughout this series. “I will bat at number six,” he revealed. He spoke about the positions of Rishabh Pant and Ruthuraj Gaikwad.. While Pant returned to the team after the Champions Trophy, Gaikwad is stepping into this format after almost two years. But when asked who among the two is entering the final team, Rahul said about Pant, “Everyone knows about Pant’s talent. If he joins the playing eleven, he will not only be a batsman, but also a wicket-keeper.” When asked about giving a chance to Gaikwad, Ruthuraj did not say whether the player will play in the Ranchi ODI, but said that Gaikwad will definitely get a chance in this series. “Ruthuraj Gaikwad is an amazing player. He has performed brilliantly in the few opportunities he has had. He will get a chance in this series,” revealed Rahul.
